WWII Memorial Park.
The World War II Memorial Park, more popularly known as the Victory Park, is a monument dedicated to the victory of Russia against Nazi Germany in World War II. It is a vast complex that comprises of many structures, monuments and other memorials of the war as well as those who fought in the war.
One of the key attractions of the Victory Park is the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War. The Museum features stunning expositions and dioramas relating the key events of the Great War. While visiting the Museum, you will also see halls of fame and memory, an art gallery and a cinema.
You will also get a first-hand look at the range and nature of weapons used in World War II. The open-air Weaponry and Fortification Exposition has a huge number of armored vehicles from WWII days on display here.
To commemorate the role of different religious groups who fought in the Great Patriotic War, the Park is also home to a memorial synagogue, a memorial mosque and an Orthodox church. Apart from these major structures, check out the numerous obelisks and tranquil fountains that dot the park.
